Business and Investment Opportunities

A structured way for businesses, project sponsors, governments and institutions to present opportunities — and for investors and partners to find them.

Discover credible opportunities. Meet capable partners.

Good projects often stall not for lack of merit but for lack of the right introduction, and serious investors spend too long sifting unstructured pitches. NiDCC sits between the two: we receive opportunities across priority sectors and markets, help structure what is shared, and open controlled engagement with members and partners — while every party keeps responsibility for its own due diligence.

  • Opportunities from businesses, project sponsors, governments and institutions
  • Profiles structured so the essentials are clear from the start
  • Introductions only with both parties' consent
Who it's for

Three sides of every opportunity.

The pipeline is built for the people who bring opportunities, the people who back them, and the institutions that make them possible.

Businesses & project sponsors

You have a growing business, a project or an export offer and need capital, a strategic partner, a buyer or a route into a new market.

  • Equity, debt or project finance
  • Joint-venture and distribution partners
  • Export and procurement contracts

Investors & partners

You are looking for screened deal flow, co-investment or partnership opportunities across Nigeria, Africa and the diaspora economy.

  • Opportunities filtered by sector and stage
  • Structured profiles, not cold pitches
  • Introductions on mutual consent

Governments & institutions

You are promoting investment, structuring a public-private partnership or seeking private-sector participation in a programme.

  • Public-private partnership visibility
  • Access to diaspora and private capital
  • Convening at summits and missions

How it works

How an opportunity moves through NiDCC.

Each stage exists to make the next conversation more useful for both sides.
  1. Step 01

    Submit a profile

Share the essentials: what the opportunity is, where it is, what is needed and from whom. You receive a reference number.

  2. Step 02

    Preliminary review

The team checks the profile for completeness, sector fit and the basic information a counterpart will ask for first.

  3. Step 03

    Readiness and documents

Suitable submissions may be asked for supporting documents or invited into a readiness assessment before wider visibility.

  4. Step 04

    Presentation to the network

Opportunities that are ready can be presented to members and partners — in the pipeline, at roundtables, missions or the Annual Summit.

  5. Step 05

    Expressions of interest

Interested parties register interest. Introductions happen only when both sides agree, and contact details are not shared before then.

  6. Step 06

    Independent due diligence

From introduction onward, each party runs its own diligence and negotiations with its own advisers.

Our role

What NiDCC does — and doesn't do.

We do

  • Receive and review opportunity profiles for completeness and fit
  • Help structure what is shared so counterparts can assess it quickly
  • Give ready opportunities visibility with members and partners
  • Facilitate introductions once both parties have agreed
  • Convene sponsors and investors at roundtables, missions and summits

We don't

  • Provide investment, legal, tax or financial advice
  • Endorse, verify or recommend any opportunity
  • Guarantee funding, a partner, a contract or a transaction
  • Share your contact details without your consent
  • Replace each party's own professional due diligence
Questions

Common questions about opportunities.

Who can submit an opportunity?
Businesses, project sponsors, governments and institutions with a genuine commercial or development opportunity. You do not need to be a member to submit.
Will my opportunity be published as soon as I submit it?
No. Every submission is reviewed first. Some are asked for more information or documents, and only opportunities that are ready are presented more widely.
Is my information kept confidential?
Submissions are handled under our Privacy Policy and used to administer your enquiry. Contact details are not shared with a counterpart until both sides agree to an introduction.
I'm an investor — how do I see opportunities?
Use "Express Investor Interest" below and tell us the sectors, markets, stages and ticket sizes you focus on. The team will contact you when there is relevant deal flow and can arrange introductions on mutual consent.
